Our youngest patrons and their caregivers will play and get to know other caregivers with same-age children. Together we will enjoy music and stories through singing, movement games, finger plays, nursery rhymes, and books. Older siblings are welcome to join us but the program will be geared toward babies and toddlers.

During our 2s Story Time, children 24-36 months and their caregivers will learn and play together. Each week we will explore music and stories through songs, movement games, rhythm instruments, flannel boards, and books. Older and younger siblings are welcome to join us but the program will be aimed at 2-year-olds.

Come learn about the history, tradition, and beer of Oktoberfest, with Advanced Cicerone, author and cartoonist Em Sauter. Em will bring the world's largest festival alive using her whimsical illustrations while sharing interesting facts about this famous fall festival in Munich, Germany. Get out your lederhosen, wash your masskrug and iron your dirndl!
A tasting of several Oktoberfest beers will be offered – join the fun!
About Our Speaker
Em Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist and was named one of the "40 under 40 Tastemakers" in 2016 by Wine Enthusiast. She has an MFA in cartooning from the Center for Cartoon Studies, is an Advanced Cicerone, BJCP Beer Judge, and has judged many international beer competitions. She has contributed to All About Beer, Alcohol Professor, Vinepair, Craft Beer and Brewing, Brewers and Distillers International, and the UK-based Pellicle (where she has a monthly comic about brewery cats!). Her first book "Beer is for Everyone!" was published in 2017 by One Peace Books and her second book "Hooray for Craft Beer!" was published by Brewers Publications.
