Registration Required It's time for Family Story Time! We'll sing, dance, and read together.  This event is designed for children birth - 5 but interested older siblings are welcome to attend. You only need to signup once for all the Family Story Time sessions. It is okay to miss sessions. Registration Required Below Join us for the MTL Cookbook Club – part book club, part culinary tasting! Each meeting will focus on a particular cookbook from the Library's collection. Group members are invited to read the book, select a recipe to cook, and enjoy sampling with one another as we discuss. CLICK HERE to learn more about our club meetings, selecting recipes and sharing dishes. Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every other month.

This month, as Ina Garten, celebrated and beloved cookbook author, releases her memoir, the MTL Cookbook Club will explore her complete collection of cookbooks. Choose your favorite recipe from her many books, and let us know what you plan to make and share at our next meeting. See below for recipes already selected.

POSTPONED ~ NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON Co-sponsored with New Pond Farm Education Center Microplastics are ubiquitous in the environment and can be found in marine and freshwater ecosystems, food, air, and drinking water. Learn more about this important issue with consultant, educator, researcher, and explorer Tim Keyes as he shares the results of sampling done around the country, including at New Pond Farm in Redding. Following the discussion, watch The Voice of the Hudson, a 50-minute documentary film about the monumental trip 8 high school students took down the length of the Hudson in 2023, from the Adirondacks to Manhattan, taking water samples along the way.
