“Run run run as fast as you can . . .” to the Gingerbread Story Time! We’ll share Gingerbread Man stories, songs, and games. We’ll even eat a tasty (and super sneaky) gingerbread treat! This program is for independent 3-and-4 year-olds since they will attend story time without their caregiver.

Climate change is a global challenge, but its effects can also be experienced on a local level.
Join us as
Priti Kiefer, a rising junior at Joel Barlow High School and an active member of the Barlow Eco Club, discusses how climate change is impacting the town of Redding.
In this informative session, Priti will explain the science of climate change and examine its tangible effects right here in our own backyard. From rising temperatures and changing weather patterns to the health of our local ecosystems, this program will help you understand the pressing issues facing our community.
About Our Presenter
Priti Kiefer, a junior at Joel Barlow High School and a member of the school’s Eco Club, hopes to raise awareness about how climate change affects people on the local level. Kiefer strives to change the community’s perception of climate change, emphasizing that even a quiet town like Redding is not immune to its effects.
