Join us to hike one of the Norwalk River Valley Trails in Wilton. Our guide will be Redding resident Charlie Taney, a long-time NRVT Board Member.  Charlie is also an avid birder, so bring along your binoculars, and perhaps we’ll be lucky to spot some of the many birds migrating this time of year.

These beautiful trails are designed to give all the opportunity to hike, run, walk, or stroll with a baby along the Norwalk River, along ponds, and up lovely Connecticut hills.  The 10 foot wide stone dust trail accommodates everyone and is handicap accessible

When completed Norwalk River Valley Trail will be the longest trail in Fairfield County — 30 miles of trail connecting Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, Connecticut to Rogers Park in Danbury, passing through Wilton, Ridgefield, and Redding along the way.
