Mark Twain Library’s Stone’s Throw series highlights the very best our area has to offer. We’ll meet up at the destinations, and participate in FREE specially arranged, small group tours.

Registration is required for each tour and space is limited.

GATHERING LOCATION: We’ll gather at the front desk of the Museum.

START TIME: Tour will begin promptly at 11 a.m. Please arrive a few minutes early.

TOUR DURATION: Approximately 30 minutes

Join us for a tour of the main museum of the Wilton Historical Society, two 18th century dwellings featuring artifacts and collections throughout 12 furnished rooms. Each space tells a unique story about how domestic life evolved in New England from 1740 to 1910.

A special highlight of the tour will be the Wilton Historical Society’s popular Great Trains Holiday Show, an annual tradition featuring multiple train layouts!

The tour will include an overview of the Museum; and afterward, participants may linger at the Great Trains Holiday Show or shop for the holidays in the Museum store.

Registration is required and space is limited. Register early to reserve a spot!
