The Redding Land Trust, New Pond Farm and Mark Twain Library present Appreciating Our Natural Environment, a three-part series focusing on preserving our local ecosystems.

During this interactive session, Understanding & Protecting Our Local Ecosystem, we will hear from a panel of experts about the health of our woodlands, wildlife, and insects — and how to better protect open space.

Panelists will include Ed Faison, senior ecologist at Highstead, a regional conservation and ecological stewardship non-profit; Chris Nagy, director of research and education at Mianus River Gorge, a 964-acre preserve dedicated to protecting irreplaceable habitat for the community; and Faith Novella, conservation manager at Earthplace in Westport,  a non-profit nature discovery and environmental learning center. Veronique Jarrell-King, a trustee with Redding Land Trust will serve as moderator.
