The wisdom keepers of the Andes describe the time we are living in as Pachakuti — the dawn of a new era where humanity awakens and ushers in a golden time of peace. According to this perspective, the early stages of this great awakening are marked by cosmic and personal upheaval, and as old systems unravel on the world stage, these same imbalances can be mirrored in our families, relationships, and homes.
Fresh from her yearly pilgrimage to the Andes of Peru, psychotherapist and spiritual healer Lizzy McDonald will share the medicine of the mountains and teachings received through years of learning from Andean wisdom keepers.
Through storytelling, ancient teachings, and a ceremonial practice of Hallpay, participants will experience the medicine of Munay (love) and Ayllu (community), connecting with one another, sharing what is on our hearts, and exploring how we can bring this ancient wisdom into our own community — right here and now — to help usher in this new era, together.
About Our Presenter

Lizzy McDonald, LMSW, is a holistic psychotherapist, spiritual healer, and teacher with nearly two decades of experience guiding individuals, groups, and communities through healing and personal transformation.
She is the founder of The New Body, where she bridges modern psychology, somatic practices, ancient wisdom traditions, and spiritual healing.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healing is both personal and collective, and that deeper connection with ourselves, one another, and the natural world is essential to our well-being.
A longtime student of Andean wisdom teachings, Lizzy guides yearly pilgrimages to the sacred mountains of Peru, where she continues to learn from her teachers Lucia Ccana, as well as Victor Churas Quispe and Celia Samata Apaza, Q’eros Nation. With deep respect and gratitude for her teachers, she shares these teachings to help bring ancient wisdom into modern life and community.
