Podcast enthusiasts, rejoice! Your favorite pastime is no longer limited to listening in your car or while taking your dog for a walk!
Pods ‘n Ends is a new MTL group facilitated by Amy Maloof, Redding Sentinel’s podcast columnist, and Carolyn Prusa, a local author.
Each month, Amy and Carolyn will select an engaging episode and we’ll meet to discuss it in person (over snacks!)
“It’s like a book club, but for podcasts!” Amy explained.
Eclectic topics will run the gamut — from true crime to history to pop culture and heartwarming humor.
Meetings will be held on Monday evenings.
This Month’s Podcast: Hidden Brain, Episode: “Bullsh*t Jobs”
An entertaining episode discussing the types of office jobs – the endless “coordinator” positions, the assistants to the assistants – that, by and large, aren’t essential. You might even call them bullsh*t. A thoughtful and often funny exploration of the modern workplace.
