Welcome the arrival of summer as the Aubade Wind Trio performs a special concert that evokes the senses of the season. If weather permits, guests will enjoy the performance outdoors on the Library’s scenic Loggia, with the woods and river providing a unique ambient sound to complement the music.
Featuring flute, oboe and clarinet, the Trio specializes in chamber music by lesser-known composers, and works performed less frequently by well-known composers. This concert will include works by Paul De Wailly, Michael Walshe, Luis Gianneo, Bruce Abbott, Valerie Coleman, John Rutter, Ulysses Kay, and Malcolm Arnold.
Join us as we welcome the arrival of summer through music that is spirited, lyrical, and full of color!
This program will include a brief intermission and a reception will follow the concert.

The Allen and Helen Hermes Arts Series was founded in 2003, and is funded by a generous gift the couple donated to the Mark Twain Library.
