Our great-grandmothers were wiser than we thought — not only did they know how to enhance the body’s natural defenses and improve energy levels, but most knew how to treat common ailments with natural ingredients.
Andrea Candee, a master herbalist, will discuss some alternative uses for foods we might already have in our kitchen: the lowly onion, an over-ripe banana, a bulb of stinky garlic or a burning hot cayenne pepper.
We’ll learn about natural approaches to common ailments such as headaches, candida, arthritis, constipation, eczema, coughs and allergies. Andrea will also discuss easy preparations such as encapsulated herbs, botanical extracts and herbal teas.
Make your kitchen a user-friendly alternative to the pharmacy!
