About Our Speaker
Joseph Gianquinto is a 38-year veteran of the television industry whose passion for broadcasting took root as a Communication Arts major at Seton Hall University, where he graduated in 1960. Following two active duty tours in the U.S. Army, Joe began his career at the William Esty Advertising Agency before embarking on a long and accomplished tenure behind the scenes at major networks including ABC, NBC, ESPN, and Westinghouse Broadcasting.
In retirement, Joe has continued to pursue his love of American popular culture. He’s written lyrics set to the timeless melodies of the Great American Songbook, self-published four books, and now produces multimedia presentations that blend slides, video, and narration to bring history and entertainment to life.
A proud New Jersey native, Joe lives in Old Greenwich with his wife of 57 years, Margaret. Together they’ve raised four daughters and now delight in their growing family of thirteen grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
