Dear Pudd’nhead attendees and friends,
As the world has done such a great job of reminding us over the last couple years, life happens.
Our honoree, the incredible Amy Schumer, had emergency surgery this week and will be unable to join us for Pudd’nhead. While we are obviously disappointed, the most important thing is obviously her health, and we wish her a speedy recovery. The second most important thing, however, was making sure Pudd’nhead had a suitable guest of honor to accept the award on her behalf.
And we’ve got one!
Television and film star (and recent Men’s Fitness cover model) Christopher Meloni will be joining us at In Situ as our guest of honor for this year’s event. Chris is best known as Elliot Stabler on Law and Order: SVU and the brand-new Law and Order: Organized Crime. Among many other roles, he has also appeared in Oz, True Blood, 42, Man of Steel, Wet Hot American Summer, and in the film Snatched with Amy Schumer.
We’re thrilled to welcome Christopher Meloni to Pudd’nhead and hope his muscly arms are strong enough to lift a giant spoon.
