Honor someone with a donation to the Library by making a gift to recognize a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. You can donate to the Mark Twain Library in someone’s name and we will send a letter explaining your thoughtful and creative gesture. It’s a win – win – win – for the gift giver, the recipient, and of course, for your library.

Memorial Gifts


A century ago, Mark Twain brought his dream to Redding…a library filled with engaging opportunities to be enjoyed by all. A donation in memory of a loved one is a particularly meaningful way to celebrate their life. The Library will provide acknowledgement to the family of the person memorialized.
