Our founder loved his home here in Redding and his favorite perch was the loggia, a grand porch from where the marvels of the Redding landscape dazzled him.
We are thrilled to have an outdoor space off of our library to enhance and expand the handsomely homey hub Twain seeded.
Special thanks to the Town of Redding’s ARPA Funds Working Group, the Thomas R. and Terry S. Flagg Fund, Nancy King of Seventy Acres Landscape Architecture and Design, and library trustee turned “General Contractor” Eric Rubury.
