The intention of this series is to spend mindful time soaring above your parenting journey; to gain new and expanded perceptions of yourself & your parenthood. Through the series you will experience greater relaxation, connect with like-minded parents and gain mindfulness techniques to bring into your family life.
Parents of all ages and in all stages are welcome. Parents are also encouraged to bring their little ones along.
This 5 week series is led by Alexa Oliveri- Motherhood Coach, Community Builder & Intuitive

Meet Alexa Oliveri 
Alexa is a Mother to her two daughters, who are her teachers and inspiration for her current life's work as a Motherhood Coach, Community Builder and Intuitive. Through this work, Alexa is called to bring Parents and their children together in community. She is passionate about helping parents create & integrate within their role as Parent; so they find ease and joy within their days. Alexa is dedicated to creating safe, supportive space for both Parent & child as they grow, learn and explore through this life.
Her training and past experiences in corporate business, event planning, team leadership, life and business coaching come to the forefront with her current work in groups, 1:1 sessions & retreats. Alexa is a creator, manifestor, kundalini yoga and matcha latte lover. She lives in the beautiful woods of Redding, CT with her family.

Have fun and make friends while cultivating your creativity in our weekly group discussions about art, creativity and so much more! Our facilitated conversations invite participants to consider imaginative and alternative viewpoints about the creative process in a congenial, relaxed Zoom setting. Empower your creativity and feed your brain by joining us in the Creative Collective Discussion Group! In this 8-week series, the Creative Collective will explore how to break down creative blocks with the help of Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross .  This book will be used as a springboard for inspiration and discovery. We'll gather at Topstone beach for an outdoor Family Story Time with books, songs, and flannel board stories. Please bring your own beach chairs/ beach blankets. Conversations in a Brave Space: Black Men In America (In-Person)

Registration Required Below Conversations in a Brave Space Part I: Gaining Perspectives: Black Men in America with WCSU Associate Professor Qur-an Webb, MSW  This session will focus on the depiction of Black men in today's society and explain some of the emotional hurdles they confront on a regular basis in both their personal and professional lives. Systematic oppression and implicit bias impacts both physical and mental health, and cultural mistrust often influences perceptions and affects the quality of relationships for Black men in America. During this first of a four-part "Brave Space" series, our facilitator, Qur-an Webb, MSW, will discuss potential supports and share how these efforts might be linked to larger societal justice goals. Afterward, we'll break into smaller discussion groups before reconvening to share new understandings and perspectives. Our Speaker

Qur-an Webb, MSW, has been in the social work field for over 20 years. An associate professor of Health Sciences at Western Connecticut State University, Qur-an is also director of operations at Welcome 2 Reality, LLC, and the Connecticut Chapter Lead for Media Literacy Now which focuses on education around media literacy. Qur-an is vice president of the Association of Black Sports Officials. In this role, he advocates for the rights of and opportunities for Black sports officials and pushes for equality among officials. He also provides training and professional development opportunities domestically and internationally for the company.
