Wisdom of Nature: Introduction to Herbalism (In-Person)

Wisdom of Nature: Introduction to Herbalism (In-Person)

Tuesday, October 1

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Registration Required Below There is a whole world of medicine — and it may be right outside your door! The practice of herbalism, or using plants as medicine, dates back to pre-historic times, as people learned which plants helped them, and which plants were harmful to them. Join us as Community Herbalist Brenna E. Regan leads an interactive presentation on how herbalism has developed over time. The intent of the session is to offer some basic tips, while also pointing out the multiracial and Indigenous roots of plant medicinal practices. About Our Speaker
Brenna E. Regan (she/they) is a Redding resident and a 2008 graduate of Joel Barlow High School. Brenna is recognized as a community herbalist with Other+ Earth, a business she launched in hopes of expanding access and facilitating deeper connection to the healing powers of the world, with a particular focus on plant medicine.
