Celebrate Pride Month
Join us as we share books about Pride parades (such as This Day in June by Gayle E. Pitman and Pride Puppy! by Robin Stevenson) and then parade around the yard with festive music and feather colorful boas.
This is an outdoor event. We have adult and child-sized Adirondack chairs available. Feel free to bring your own chair or picnic blanket if that would make you more comfortable. We will meet outside near the frog statue.
Members and allies of the LGBT+ community often identify themselves by wearing rainbow colors; if you’re interested, go wild with your colorful outfits and accessories!
