Podcast enthusiasts, rejoice! Your favorite pastime is no longer limited to listening in your car or while taking your dog for a walk!
Pods ‘n Ends is a new MTL group facilitated by Amy Maloof, Redding Sentinel’s podcast columnist, and Carolyn Prusa, a local author.
Each month, Amy and Carolyn will select an engaging episode and we’ll meet to discuss it in person (over snacks!)
“It’s like a book club, but for podcasts!” Amy explained.
Eclectic topics will run the gamut — from true crime to history to pop culture and heartwarming humor.
Meetings will be held on fourth Monday of the month.
This Month’s Podcast: Mystery Show, Episode: “Case #2 Britney”
Mystery Show was a short-lived podcast that pitted host Starlee Kine against those mysteries of life that can’t be solved by Google. Episode 2 finds Starlee working for author Andrea who spotted, in a paparazzi photo, her poorly selling novel in the hands of one Britney Spears. Andrea needs to know how on earth Britney got a copy — and did she like it? Starlee is on the case.
