Embrace the rhythms of nature and support your well-being with our Seasonal Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy Workshop. This program offers a 30-minute educational introduction to the Ayurvedic perspective on the current season, exploring how seasonal changes impact the body and mind and practical tips for restoring balance.

Following the introduction, enjoy a 60-minute therapeutic yoga asana practice tailored to pacify common seasonal imbalances. The sequence is designed to be grounding, calming, and restorative, helping you feel aligned with the season’s energy.

This workshop is open to all levels, whether you are new to yogaAyurveda, or both. If you require specific support, such as a chair or additional accommodations, please let us know in advance so we can ensure your experience is comfortable and inclusive.

Expect to gain a foundational understanding of Ayurveda and enjoy a peaceful, meditative yoga practice designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit with the natural world.

What to Bring and Wear
Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and any props you may like for additional support, such as a bolster, blanket, or blocks.

About Our Speaker

Brett Matzke is a certified IAYT yoga therapist through the PranaYoga School for Holistic Health and Yoga and an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach trained at Shakti School. With a background in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, Brett bridges the connection between self-care and environmental stewardship. She believes that healing our bodies and cultivating a compassionate relationship with ourselves are key to treating the planet with the same respect. Her guiding philosophy is captured in her favorite quote: “We have two homes: our bodies and the earth, so we must take care of them.”

In her classes, Brett draws from the Sattva Vinyasa lineage, a yoga tradition dedicated to fostering balance in mind, body, and spirit. Through elemental-inspired asana, pranayama, and meditation therapies, she empowers students to align with nature’s rhythms and embrace the cycles of life.
